Technical review on jet fuel production:

In present study, we investigated jet fuel production process, including the crude oil-based conventional process, unconventional oil sources-based process, Fischer–Tropsch synthesis (F–T) process and renewable jet fuel process and analyzed the details of each jet fuel production process. Among these jet fuel production technologies, the F–T synthesis and renewable jet fuel process supply alternative fuels with potential environmental benefit of reduced life cycle greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and the economic benefits associated with increased fuel availability and lower fuel costs. The F–T synthesis has a major advantage with the possibility of accepting any carbon-based input, which makes it suitable for using a variety of sources such as coal, natural gas and 2nd generation biomass as feedstocks. The renewable jet fuel process such as Bio-Synfining™ (Syntroleum) and Ecofining™ (UOP) as well as C-L™ (Tianjin University) is a low capital cost process of producing high quality synthetic paraffinic kerosene (SPK) from bio-renewable feeds like vegetable oils/fats and waste cooking oils/fats, greases, energy plants of jatropha and algal. The SPK has superior fuel properties to other options available today, with higher cetane number, lower cloud point and lower emissions

 

Renewable bio-jet fuel production for aviation:

Due to excessive greenhouse gas emissions and high dependence on traditional petroleum jet fuel, the sustainable development of the aviation industry has drawn increasing attention worldwide. One of the most promising strategies is to develop and industrialize alternative aviation fuels produced from renewable resources, e.g. biomass. Renewable bio-jet fuel has the potential to reduce CO2 emissions over their life cycle, which make bio-jet fuels an attractive substitution for aviation fuels. This paper provided an overview on the conversion technologies, economic assessment, environmental influence and development status of bio-jet fuels. The results suggested that hydrogenated esters and fatty acids, and Fischer-Tropsch synthesis can be the most promising technologies for bio-jet fuels production in near term. Future works, such as searching for more suitable feedstock, improving competitiveness for alternative jet fuels, meeting emission reduction targets in large-scale production and making measures for the indirect impact are needed for further investigation. The large-scale deployment of bio-jet fuels could achieve significant potentials of both bio-jet fuels production and CO2 emissions reduction based on future available biomass feedstock.

Lessons from a course of happiness and fulfillment .

I was badly confined indoors,experiencing harrows during my quarantine days . It was as if I was spending the worst days of my life.(I could not remember the last time I hang out , barely go outside, I played and many more things that missed out).To be very precise, I feel that something is lacking inside me.So, randomly checking out youtube feeds ,I stumbled across a course of happiness and fulfillment on Coursera. I enrolled for the course in 7 days trial period. After finishing the course I found myself very cheerful, motivated ,happy from inside. Here I  am going share some of my experiences and some  precious lessons to achieve happiness in life. 

One of the inspiring courses I have been gone through the last 3 months.I am putting it's lessons and objective. this course is wisely designed by the expert Dr.Rajagopal Raghunathan.I came across many unknown terms like happiness paradox, creative altruism , expertise differentiation between Academic smarts ,career smarts , happy smarts  and many more . In my final assignment I have written  down some of the truths that I personally felt in my life .I will copy things here so that u people can evalute this things. there were more than  6 question but i am posting best 3 of them which I believe lessons from the course--(lessons in the forms of question and answer)

Q.A big reason why many of us commit the fundamental happiness paradox is because we harbor negative misconceptions about happiness. Mention at least two such negative misconceptions and provide some support for why they aren’t valid. That is, refer to at least one research finding (you don’t need to cite the paper) that indicates that the negative misconception is invalid.(3 point)

A.We ,the humans, assimilate negative  misconception from society and cultures. one of such misconception of happiness is (1)if you are chasing to the happiness happiness will be more illusive in life, the more you want to achieve it, the more difficult it will turn out  So, according to my assumptions wait for the happiness to come and do  your job with whole dedication. another one is(2) only big achievement can bring happiness otherwise you can't get happiness in your life, you can find happiness in little things ,in little joys . if you can you will be more happier than one who achieve bigger things and get happiness.

 

Q. Viktor Frankl, the gentleman who wrote, Man’s search for meaning, is reputed to have said, “Don't aim at success. The more you aim at it and make it a target, the more you are going to miss it. For success, like happiness, cannot be pursued; it must ensue…”

Frankl’s quote suggests that it’s better not to pursue happiness. Please indicate whether you agree or disagree with Frankl’s statement and justify your position by referring to relevant findings. (2 points.)

A.i believe if u are immensely obsessed with something, in the long run  that will beget frustration,unhappiness .Seeking happiness should be done by the quality of the action,dedication u put towards that job rather than expecting on the results to come.
let success should be done without caring about it. your yearn for happiness might get ruined for pursue for it .

Q.Consider this statement: Givers are always more successful than takers or matchers. Do you agree with the statement? Justify your answer by referring to relevant findings. (2 points)

A.I always agree with this statement because I always think that takers portrays self sacrificing and takers enact dominating role in this  society takers always stand in the benefited position where the givers stays as benefactor .takers are those who fight and claws their paths with taking every sort of advantage from the givers. givers unselfishness attitude ruins the path of victory..

Undoubtedly "Manjhi-The Mountain Man" is a piece of gem.

A couple of days ago,I was searching something that inspire me from the core.So, I went for youtube and searched some inspirational movies and I found out Manjhi-The Mountain Man. I watched that film so intensively that I fascinated about it's storyline. So without wasting any time let me peep u into the deep insights .

   Story  -  It is a biographical film of an ordinary man who proved himself to be extraordinary one,Dashrath Manjhi, The Mountain Man of India. This man single-handedly made the road through the rocky-rigde of Gehlaur (a small village located in Gaya district of Bihar). It was the time around 1960's,the people of Gahlaur had to climb across the rocky mountain to get the medical treatment from the nearest town Wazirganj . The story revolves around Dashrath and his wife Phaguniya Devi. Oneday Phaguniya Devi while crossing the mountain ridge with a pitcher filled with water(she was pregnant at that time), tripped over the mountain and eventually succumbed to death ,that leads the diminutive hero to admonish the large mountains .failed to reach Wazirganj in that traumatic time, Manjhi decided to carve the path through the mountain ,picking hammer and chisel.After 22 years of back-breaking labour,Manjhi carved the road across mountain and story comes to an end.

Movie review- Nawazuddin Siddiqui portrays the character of Dashrath with profound passion and Radhika Apte is enacted the role of his wife.This amazing motivational film  is directed by Ketan Mehta. Few scenes that has influenced myself very deeply.  One was -"Jab Tak Todega Nehi,Tab Tak Chorega Nehi"

"Well!! I am not stopping until  I turn you into rubble. Don't think yourself too big!!'"

The emotions in the quivering voice of Nawaz sends chills through our spine.The vigorous struggle of Manjhi to make his family happy,The pathetic life of poor villagers by the atrocities of Zaminder was depicted incredibly. The survival and the immense determinetion of Dashrath when the whole village deserted to avoid drought ,creates sensation in our mind.lastly the scene of inauguration of the path by the villagers was enjoyable too.

Leasons From This Movie- This film sends a moral massage that a demented man can raised himself from anything by the dint of love.This reallife story is the one of the most inspiring I have gone through.
